Accessibility Statement
Last updated 31 May 2026
TicketWise is built so that every facility-management team — and everyone who logs a grievance through it, from a hotel guest to a hospital attendant to a corporate-park resident — can use it regardless of ability, assistive technology, or device. Accessibility is part of how we design and ship the product, not an afterthought.
1. Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological impairments. We treat AA conformance as a baseline we measure ourselves against on every release of this site and the TicketWise application.
2. Measures we take
Accessibility is engineered into our markup, our styling, and our review process. Concretely, we:
- Use semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks — meaningful
<header>,<nav>,<main>,<section>and<footer>regions — so screen-reader users can understand and navigate page structure. - Maintain a logical heading order (one
<h1>per page, then nested headings) so content can be skimmed by structure. - Support full keyboard navigation with a clearly visible focus indicator and a “skip to content” link, so no interaction depends on a mouse or touch.
- Provide sufficient colour contrast (at least 4.5:1 for body text) and never rely on colour alone to convey meaning — statuses, ticket states, and alerts always carry a text label or icon as well.
- Respect reduced-motion preferences — when your system requests
prefers-reduced-motion, we suppress non-essential animation. - Build responsive layouts that reflow and remain usable at up to 200% zoom, without loss of content or horizontal scrolling on a single column.
- Write descriptive labels, link text, and alternative text for images and controls, and mark purely decorative graphics as hidden from assistive technology.
3. Compatibility
This site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers — Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari — on desktop and mobile, and with common assistive technologies such as screen readers (for example NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver), screen magnifiers, and speech-input tools. Core content and navigation degrade gracefully without JavaScript: the server renders meaningful HTML first, and animation is layered on top only as an enhancement.
4. Known limitations
We want to be honest: despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully conformant. Third-party or embedded components — such as maps, video players, or externally hosted documents — are not always under our direct control, and newly published content can occasionally fall short of our own standards before we catch it. Where we identify gaps, we treat them as bugs: we log them, prioritise them, and work to remediate them.
5. Feedback & contact
Your feedback helps us improve. If you encounter any barrier on this site or within TicketWise — content you can’t reach, a control you can’t operate, or anything that doesn’t work with your assistive technology — please tell us. Email privacy@ticketwise.in and, where you can, include the page address, the browser and assistive technology you were using, and a short description of the problem.
We take these reports seriously: we aim to acknowledge your message and to work with you to provide the information or function you need while we fix the underlying issue. If email isn’t convenient, you can also reach our support team at support@ticketwise.in, and we will route your request to the right people.
